Dancing Around The World – Inspirational and Fun Travel Video!

Posted on March 1st, 2017 by BreAnn

On February 26, 2013, James and I set out on an amazing, incredible, and life-changing one year journey around the world. Throughout Asia, Africa, Australia, Europe, and the U.S. we immersed ourselves in the fascinating culture, experienced many beautiful landscapes and monuments, had a lot of crazy adventures, and met and traveled with SO many incredible people from all over the world. This fun around-the-world dancing video is the culmination of that entire year… and this particular song was selected because it represents EVERYBODY in the world—no matter their race, religion, nationality, or beliefs—coming TOGETHER, through love, understanding, gratitude, generosity, fun, and DANCE! 🙂 I really DO hope and believe that, “One day, we’ll be TOGETHER”!! 🙂 <3 <3

Inspiration to lead an amazing (travel) life!

Posted on January 20th, 2017 by BreAnn

I quite often share inspirational quotes on my Facebook page, and many of those inspirational quotes are travel related. Obviously I’m passionate about travel… but I’m actually more passionate about BEING passionate!

I want to share with you some of my very FAVORITE travel quotes I’ve collected over time. Even if you haven’t traveled much yourself and may not personally connect with some of these phrases, I think it’s important to read and reflect on the true MEANING of each. From experience, I truly feel that travel is SO MUCH MORE than just “seeing the sights”; it’s educating yourself about THE WORLD firsthand, it’s about observing and gaining understanding about OTHER CULTURES, it’s about learning COMPASSION and ACCEPTANCE for others who are nothing like yourself, and it’s about that dramatic shift within yourself when you realize you’ve COMPLETELY CHANGED inside forever because of the INCREDIBLE EXPERIENCES you’ve gathered and gained from visiting other cities and countries.

I want to note that none of these are just “random” quotes for me… each and EVERY one of these phrases actually evokes some kind of emotional response inside myself as I read them:  joy, nostalgia, excitement, sadness, or just the goose-bump-evoking thought of the endless possibilities in life that are ALL out there, just within your reach!

And…. my travel life motto:

And finally… the quote that sums up the entirety of this blog (along with a photo from Norway last June):
